  1. Most friendly campground we've ever been to in Canada. Amazing experience.

They have everything that tenters might need, and the lady that manage the place is so lovely. She gave us tips on wineries to visit, was flexible with check out. We felt like home there. 30$ for 2 tents and 1$ for a shower is very reasonable price in this area.

  2. Clean urban camping

We chose this resort based on proximity to places we were pla ing on visiting during our 6 night stay as well as hook-up availability and being pet friendly. It is basic urban camping, but no different than the multitude of other urban campgrounds in the area. There are trees, but sites are mostly open in the full hook-up section. You can achieve some privacy through placement of RV and vehicles. We did have a small view of the lake and surrounding mountains. What impressed us most was the cleanliness of washrooms and laundry area. Although the website states some fire pits, there was a prominent sign stating no fires. Anyone going to the Okanagan throughout the summer should expect no wood fires, but propane fires were permitted. The staff was very clear at the onset there were no refunds and we were ok with that. It’s certainly not a provincial park setting, but we were not expecting it to be, either. Overall, it was an acceptable venue and it appeared most campers were off adventuring every day, only coming back at night – which is as it should be when there is so much of the Okanagan to see.

  3. Urban Camping

We only needed a spot to park our tent for the night and take a shower in the morning. We weren’t cooking food. This is a great campground for just overnight or if you’re working in Kelowna and need a place to park. Otherwise, it doesn’t have the ‘camping feel’ that we are used to. No wooded lots. No privacy. This is total urban camping. Pretty much a big grassy area with a sites to set up tents. Closer to the shower rooms, there are hookups for RV’s with water and power. You’re close to shopping and eateries. I would set up my tent here again if I was in Kelowna for a few days.

  4. Good location, not cared for

We have stayed here several times as it is really close to visiting a friend. The actual area where we park the trailer obviously never gets cleaned. There was a dirty diaper in the dirt between the 2 campsites. It stayed there till we picked it up. There was also an apparently discarded child’s ride on toy and disposable paper plates and utensils as well as other garbage around all the sites. However, the check in office was pristine. Go figure. We didn’t use the bathrooms.

  5. Good location

Close to Walmart and shopping in West Bank Kelowna. Some spots offer fires. 5 stalls for a shower ($1 for 5min) but can get busy at peak times. No restaurants or grocery on site. Beach is 5-7 minute drive to Kisangani lake. Customer service is satisfactory and could be better. Would return again.
