  1. Great motel, alternate to Penticton motels

     (5 / 5)

I stayed here for multiple trips to Penticton while a family member was gravely ill. During the summer months, the hotels increase their rate. This motel was able to accommodate a discount for the extended unpla ed stay, which was greatly appreciated. The AC worked well, very clean and the pool was a nice treat to refresh in during the 30+ days. Right off the highway and 2 min drive to a fantastic beach (Sun-Oka) Will stay here again!

  2. Great community

     (4 / 5)

My boyfriend and I had stayed in this motel for the winter while we were in transition of moving. Great customer service, very reasonable owners and lovely staff. Great cleaning services. The location is extremely handy being right between Penticton (where main chain stores are ex. Superstore, Boston Pizza) and Summerland main town (beautiful community everywhere in Summerland). Only thing about being off the highway is that you can hear the cars going by in the living but not so much in the bedrooms which is good. Also they are pet friendly and have amenities you can use on the property, such as laundry, swimming, seating areas. Over all enjoyed our stay here and they were very accommodating for us which is always appreciated. I would definitely recommend Summerland Motel.

  3. A Great Getaway

     (5 / 5)

Summerland Motel is convenient, clean, great owners and staff. Only a kilometer to SunOka beach, they have a lovely private pool as well. Very economical for the Okanagan area. We have stayed many times….best deal around!

  4. Good price, nice clean rooms

     (4 / 5)

We stayed here for a couple of days and while the decor was a bit outdated the rooms were very clean and quite large. They back onto a really nice courtyard where there are gardens and a pool. It was right off the highways but the noise wasn’t too bad. Check in and check out very easy and nice

  5. Small Cozy and Dog-Friendly

     (5 / 5)

Even thou the room is small and not very updated, the beds are quite comfortable. Staffs are super friendly. It’s a cozy and very convenient place to stay. Very good value. I’d stay here again if I come visit.

  6. Nice and quiet motel, with gym, and laundry

     (5 / 5)

The location is right on highway 97, in Summerland BC. Its a nice quiet place, the room is nice and the bed is very comfortable. I have parking right in front of my place, which makes it very easy for me. nI was driving down the road and I saw a lot of cars, and trucks, and I said to myself, this place is busy, it must a good place to stay.

  7. Miserable Stay

     (4 / 5)

I booked this room for a month in December and January as well. Although the begi ing of my stay was okay, I was getting harassed about my dogs because of a disgruntled person whom was also staying at the motel making up stories about me. I tried explaining this to the owners of the motel, but they would not listen. In January a couple moved in to the motel and hacked the motels internet. They managed to hack in to my bank account as well as I do online banking. They stole $119 out of my account. Myself and another customer wanted to leave because of this as we were told the internet was secured and clearly wasn’t! We requested our money back and the motel refused. So I would not recommend this motel for extended stays.

  8. Clean, quiet and close to the beach

     (4 / 5)

We booked this hotel for the July long weekend after our previous plans were cancelled. Even though we were only a week away from a long weekend, we were able to secure a great room at this unassuming hotel. The hotel itself is on the highway, but that really doesn’t impact you, especially if you stay in the building at the back. We didn’t hear any road noise at all. All rooms have an outdoor balcony or patio, there is lots of space inside the room (we had five people, all adult sized – our ‘kids’ are 17, 21 and 26), easy parking, a pool for guests to use, or simply walk down to the beach. We had pla ed to stay in either Penticton or Kelowna, but this place was directly between the two, allowing for easy trips north or south to see it all. Honestly, next time we’ll just come right back here again. We loved how quiet the beach was, the price was great, and the service was excellent.

  9. Out of town a bit

     (4 / 5)

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of room for bathroom bags in the bathroom. Small couch, comfortable chair and large bed. Location a slight disadvantage u2013 being about 5 km out of town, and near the highway. Noise from highway was muted u2013 no problem. Very good bed, with the right amount of pillows. 2-3 buildings was unusual.nSome landscaping between the two building would help the atmosphere. There was a laundry and gym but we didn’t look at them. Apple orchard next door. Fruit stand across the street. Close to 8th generation winery
