  1. Great location

     (4 / 5)

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location. Train only went by once! Used it as our jumping off point for our adventures in the area. Pool is a refreshing touch. Staff is friendly. Washrooms and showers are clean and not buggy. Sites are small. Avoid Site 80. MASSIVE tree stump!

  2. Ok Family Campground

     (4 / 5)

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading on to Penticton. This campsite is right on Swan Lake, with huge beautiful trees. There are many seasonal campers here. The people that run the campsite were very nice, & helpful 🙂 nThere is virtually no park, it’s an old set of monkey bars & swings in with the dog run that has zero grass. Sites were small but that is not new in BC. Kids didn’t go in the pool because we were busy doing other things in and around Vernon. But they didn’t feel like they were missing out as the pool looked quite green. The Campground is close to a set of tracks but we only heard the train one time at night. nI would not stay here for an extended amount, but for a day or two it is just fine!

  3. June adventure

     (5 / 5)

Stayed two nights. Close to everything. Staff is friendly and sites are shady or su y whichever you need and there is a breeze off lake. Nearby railroad did not seem busy. Pool was lovely. Bathrooms and shower were beautiful and clean. We saw lots of great wildlife.

  5. Mooie RV camping aan Swan Lake

     (3 / 5)

Mooie RV camping in Vernon. Ligt aan het Swanmeer. Mooie grote plekken. Zwembad helaas nog niet in gebruik op dit vroege moment in het jaar.nEr liggen enkele mooie parken in de directe omgeving, net als een mooi strand(Kalbeach) en de O’Keeferanch

  6. Vacation

     (4 / 5)

Great place to camp. Swan lake beautiful some sites on the lake. Swimming pool clean and tidy. The grounds are well maintained. Owner is friendly and willing to help for the asking. Close to restaurants, large malls, most important wi eries. Quite hours are respected. One hour from Penticton with beautiful country side scenery while driving. Close to Lake Okanagon must be seen to believe. Enjoyed our 3 day stay.

  7. Favorite camping spot in Vernon

     (5 / 5)

Love this place. The view along lake is great. It is family run and they care about your stay. The pool is well maintained as are the washrooms and laundry areas. Wifi is not available in all areas. It is our 4th year in a row coming here..with many more to come.

  8. Great place

     (5 / 5)

Just spent 2 weeks here in our fifth wheel and we’re quite pleased. Older park but well cared for, best internet we’ve had just about anywhere (much appreciated as our American Verizon roaming was limited), nice pool, fabulous view, very nice owners.

  10. Count your blessings

     (4 / 5)

From a grateful tenant point of view, it’s a wonderful place to be. Reading some of the reviews made me sad because I have witnessed for years the efforts of the family who keeps this place nice for seasonal campers who visit us. It may not be perfect but certainly has more than bad qualities. A refreshing, clean pool and a beautiful lake to look at every day, which you can canoe around on or float around in. There’s also a dock, if you have your own small boat or kayak. There are washrooms, showers and laundry facilities and I feel the campsites are very nice compared to some others I’ve seen. It seems the wi-fi isn’t up to some people’s expectations, but it’s FREE! What do you get for free nowadays? The world is pricey. Kids seem to really enjoy the freedom to roam around and see some of the wildlife that lives here. Hearing the loons is always a pleasure and there are species of turtles here that sometimes travel out of the water and wander about. There’s even the occasional train that goes by, for those who are train enthusiasts. I haven’t camped much but it seems to me to be the perfect spot for that! The entrance is a bit dicey since it opens onto the highway, but a bit of patience goes a long way. Living is my piece of Heaven on Earth and anyone who comes to stay with us, I believe, has much to appreciate. Embrace the great! HAVE A WONDERFUL VISIT AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!
