  1. Great location!

     (4 / 5)

We booked through Booking.com for three nights and were very happy with our choice. Overall, the building is a maze to access the parking and main entrance, but it gets easier with time. Our unit had two bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, a private balcony with a BBQ and washer and dryer. All of the required amenities were available in the kitchen. We loved the fact that we could walk to four restaurants and to the beach. Nothing was too far to access by car including downtown and West Kelowna. The management company was very accommodating. A great stay!

  2. Great air bnb spot!

     (5 / 5)

Great spot, booked via air bnb. The building itself is a bit of a maze but overall was nice. Hot tub wasn’t working when I was there, but the pool was great as was the patio area by the pool. If you’re ok with walking, it’s a fair distance from downtown hot spots, but you can easily walk along the lake. Felt very safe.

  3. Good Location

     (4 / 5)

We booked through airbnb and stayed at Playa del Sol for 2 nights with two young kids. nThe apartment was very spacious and comfortable with nice patio views. nThe parking lot is easily accessible and secure. nPool is small but still enjoyed by many guests. nIt’s a really nice location because I found downtown Kelowna to be not as safe. nWithin a few minutes drive you have many choices of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. nThe lake is a short walk away and just lovely.

  4. Fantastic stay

     (5 / 5)

I stayed in Suite 441 the faces the pool. This condo was so well equipped it had absolutely everything I have at home. The owners Kim and her husband very easy to deal with. Great communication everything as described and then some. I will definitely spend more time there next year I highly recommend them.

  5. Wonderful weekend getaway

     (5 / 5)

We stayed at this resort for a weekend in July. The unit we had was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with a lovely patio. The location was excellent just steps from the beach and close to two lovely restaurants. We found the pool area to be noisy, with lots of children, but that was to be expected. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated as it was a hot weekend. The only complaint I would have is that our unit had an iron but no ironing board. Check in was efficient and the person who assisted us was very helpful.

  6. Nearly ideal for a family vacation

     (4 / 5)

We spent a long weekend there on a multi-generational holiday. Check-in was professional and thorough, almost too much (when the group has a crying baby, for example, its OK to tell them which parking space they have; you don’t need to walk them there). Rooms were well-appointed and generally clean (bathrooms could have been cleaner). Pool was great although parts of the pool deck extremely slippery and unsafe. Take care! Close to the beach, and close to extra parking. Also fairly close to wineries and farmer’s markets. The big downside: while the list of facility rules was impressive (with threats of fines for infractions), the almost complete lack of enforcement was troubling. Young people drinking and smoking inside and/or right outside the front door. Pool (where no inflatables or blow-ups allowed) was packed with inflatables and blow-ups.

  7. Home away from home

     (5 / 5)

A spacious spotless condo that comfortably accommodated our party of four but could have easily slept eight. Well stocked kitchen with all dishes and utensils. The pool was great and there was a liquor store only a five minute walk away. The air conditioning was much appreciated. The building seems newer than it actually is because it’s maintained so well. This owner has two units side by side so if you’re travelling with another group it’s nice to be next door to each other. Also the owner was excellent to deal with. He met us at the property and gave a tour of everything. I would high recommend this property.

  8. Nice spot

We took a family vacation here in April, and it was a great spot to do it. Away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Kelowna, but close enough to get there quickly. Very close walking distance to the beach.

  9. Great stay!

     (5 / 5)

Great location to the beach and downtown Kelowna. Coffee shop Ester and Sons and spin barre on site, highly recommend a trip to the spin barre. Pool and underground parking included. Booked here 4-5 years in a row now and will keep coming back!

  10. Not what I expected- very disappointed!

     (3 / 5)

Upon our arrival to Playa, we weren’t appropriately directed or informed of our accommodations. We felt that the person did not take the time or initiative to fully inform us of all the guidelines in the manual, WIFI not set up properly, TV not co ected for any usage. When you have kids it’s crucial this is all working prior to anyone’s arrival. – beds very uncomfortable n- floors extremely dirty- make sure you wear shoes!!!n- plumbing system very loud keeps you up!!n- BBQ grills not the cleanestn- make sure you bring a broom because the one we had was on its last limb!!n- bunk bed require some TLCn- my vehicle was towed because my pass was not visible. I take some of the blame but I was not informed we had a pass and when your on holiday with your family WHO authorizes to tow a vehicle?!? Why not call the person directly. But nope TOW it away at 3am in the morning and wake up to your vehicle gone!!! Totally unacceptable especially when your on holidays! Spoke to the representative about the situation with my frustration at Playa and there response was ‘There are signs posted everywhere, did you not read the signs?!?’ Overall very disappointed would not stay there again.
