  1. Service better then food

     (3 / 5)

Was here with friends last week, had the teriyaki rice bowl which didn’t have any flavour to it at all….. I put extra salt on it, which didn’t make a difference so I just gave up. Service was good – cute blonde with really long hair… They offer free parking while you dine, wouldn’t hurry back, but place seemed busy so maybe I’ll give it another shot and try something different. Prices were decent.

  2. Best meal I had that month!

     (5 / 5)

I stopped for the night after driving 600km, and this restaurant was the closest to my parking spot. I had never heard of it before, but am glad I went in. It was cozy, with a classy atmosphere, and the staff were quick, pleasant and lovely to chat with. I tried the bruschetta chicken fettuccine and fell instantly in love. Delicious beyond words. I tried it again at another location in Alberta and it was not nearly as good, so the cooks are to be applauded for this one. The wine selection is small.

  3. Always a nice family restaurant

     (5 / 5)

Two kids and four adults recently enjoyed their meals at original Joe’s. Went around 500 pm on a Monday night. Not busy so good time to go with kids. Place started to fill up as we were leaving. Well presented dishes and good portions. Competively priced. Free parking.

  4. Disappointing

     (3 / 5)

I frequently write reviews and am generally not difficult to please so don’t think this is just a whiny customer review. My family and I visited this restaurant and were rather disappointed by the food. No complaints about the service – attentive and prompt – but the meal itself wasn’t great. I ordered a steak cooked medium rare and while it appeared to be that level of doneness, the inside was closer to blue rare plus a large sinew through the main part of the steak. Not what I expected. My wife ordered the "drunken noodles" and specified mild but they tasted both spicy and quite salty. Perhaps it was just an off night in the kitchen but with so many choices of restaurants in Kelowna, I probably would not choose this one again.

  5. So good we went 2 nights in a row

     (4 / 5)

This place was recommended to my friend and I as a good place to go in Kelowna. She was correct – both nights we shared an appie as the servings were so large. The parking was plentiful, free, the food was good. The service was good, staff was friendly. Would recommend this place.

  6. Reliable go to

     (4 / 5)

Food was delicious, great service, easy parking, reliable as always . We are not from Kelowna but stopped in because we have always been happy with other locations .

  7. Good food

     (4 / 5)

I had the buffalo chicken poutine. Would recommend for others who enjoy hot wings. Great service, however, they said that there was a shortage of lemons in the Okanogan Valley. Every restaurant we’ve been to since in the Valley has has lemon wedges for water. Great food place for family and friends.
