  1. Absolutely awesome!

     (5 / 5)

For our snowboard trip we stopped by for one night on our way from Vancouver to Big White Mountain. The five of us were greeted very heartily by the hosts and we found our accommodations absolutely clean and well smelling. The apartment is extremely spacious with a chimney and a great panoramic view of Kalowna. The open kitchen is large enough to have at least 15 People on the large table in the middle of the living room. Two couches make great to lounge around after dinner. After relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the snowy views of the Kalowna nightlights, we went straight to the absolutely comfortable beds to prepare for the drive and the next days. It was a great experience I would absolutely book again for a longer stay.

  2. Amazing property with amazing hosts

This property is so lovely. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. Staying here made our trip to Kelowna memorable. The Eagles Nest was perfectly stocked, bed was comfortable, deck large, view incredible!!!!

  3. Myra Canyon Ranch

     (5 / 5)

Fantastic place to stay and an awesome view as well. Lots of privacy of you want it. We had a huge balcony with an outdoor BBQ, sun lounges and table and chairs. Main bedroom has an awesome view. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

  4. Great horseback ride for newbies

     (5 / 5)

The ranch set up a ride that blended all the available styles so we could ride as a family together. We had three kids ((5, 8, and 10) plus an adult rider. It was also helpful that we were able to communicate by text so we could sort out last minute questions.

  5. Mountain experience

     (5 / 5)

Living myself by the ocean made my mountain experience way more enjoyable. The condos are super well equipped and comfortable. Our unit had the whole front and sides deck so we could enjoy the view from every place we were (despite the fog from the fires). No tv, just the sound of nature…

  6. Myra Canyon Ranch

We chose the Deer Suite so the three of us could all have our own bed and space. This suite had the least views but we were there during a heat wave and the Deer Suite was always a cool temperature which was delightful and although you didn’t have a clear view of the town you still had bush and wildlife surrounding the deck. The suite was just as it appears on the website, no camera tricks, it was a large comfortable living area and the full kitchen was stocked well enough with pans and spices to enable us to make some meals whilst we were there, thus saving us some money in the long run. They Also had a BBQ on the deck, outdoor setting and comfortable chairs so you could enjoy being outdoors either in the shade or in the sun. The Deer Suite in Myra Canyon Ranch was a nice quiet place to stay and owners are helpful and respectful of your space. There are enough activities for you to choose from in the Local area so you can be as busy or quiet as you choose (hiking trail just up the road, Myra Canyon Adventure Park etc.). Would definitely stay here again.

  7. Beautiful location, beautiful home, wonderful people!

     (5 / 5)

As good as it gets! Gracious hosts with a beautiful home and a stunning location. Anyone riding or walking the Myra Canyon Trestles above Kelona, BC, should consider a night or two with Kathrin & Rolf.

  8. Great Stay

     (5 / 5)

We stayed in the rustic A-Frames during our tour of the KVR. It was a welcome stop and just what we needed. We ordered a pizza, spent a day on the zip lines and were able to resupply with groceries. Rolf and Katherine were very hospitable and even though we were staying in the A frame they made sure all of our needs were taken care of.

  9. If you sick of kelowna downtown this is the place

     (5 / 5)

Good host, spacious bed room, best view you can get from canyon. Good spot for time lapse. With the room it comes with bbq pit, kitchenete. If you like winery this is the spot to stay, as it is close by to all the good winery such as meadow vista, house of rose. And kathrin so nice and let us play with mister too the stable doggo

  10. Incredible Gem!

     (5 / 5)

As with the other reviewers, can’t say enough about MCR – views are amazing, the home/suites are perfectly appointed and the hosts could’t have done more to make our brief stay so welcoming. Will definitely be back. For anyone travelling the KVR on bike -treat yourself to a wonderful rest with Kathrin and Rolf.
