  1. If you don't mind a city of RV's, then good place to stay.

We stayed in the condo units which were clean and comfortable but a block away were over 500 RV units, many were permanent residents for people in this lovely climate. Beach was hit in floods of 2017 and not revitalized so no waterfront. Not a golfer but golf course was near beach and is now ghost town as well. Need to drive a fair distance to get into Kelowna for groceries, restaurants, biking ( mountain) shopping. We were using a Time share and was a disappointment when compared to other places we have stayed with more facilities.

  2. Welcoming staff, average accommodations...

We used Interval International for our timeshare exchange over the Fall. Holiday Park Resort seems to be a collection of residents in a variety of homes – permanent homes, mobile homes, timeshare units and caravan park. Check-in was smooth and staff were informative and helpful. Our unit was comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The dishwasher was a bonus. Fireplace was nice for the cooler evenings. Unit seemed clean. Covered parking for our car. Grounds seemed well maintained. Large enclosed off leash park for dogs. Free WiFi and cable TV. Small things, however, were overlooked like fixing missing sections of the vertical blinds, and outdoor patios area not cleaned. Typical for timeshare units, there is a midweek cleaning but in this case, only garbage was removed and towels exchanged. We came in the Fall, as such, outdoor pools and facilities were closed or minimally used. As noted by others, the cost for having a pet was high at $250 for the week plus tax – roughly $37/day. Even higher end pet friendly hotels rarely have such pricey daily charges. I understand the need to charge extra but I wonder if a higher deposit, say $300, could be taken for the week and have the unit inspected AT CHECK-OUT so that an appropriate amount returned based on the state the unit is in. Hence, owners who leave the unit well, get a 50% return and those that do not, get nothing back. I suspect that most pet owners would not take advantage and will think that $150 for the week is much more fair. In summary, it was a pleasant, okay stay. However, we will unlikely return.

  3. Holiday Park Kelowna

Staff were very friendly. The grounds were immaculate! The rooms were great. Really liked the adult pools only. Maybe just a little too far from Kelowna. I thought it was closer. Would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

  4. Timeshare within Holiday Park Resort

     (3 / 5)

Our unit was three bedroom, nicely appointed but dated. Old style kitchen cupboards. Mid week housekeeping consisted of changing towels, taking garbage out, no recycling, no wipe down of sinks, counters etc. no vacuuming or sweeping.n$250. Charge for our 25 pound poodle mix, had his own ke el, day bed, and rug. He doesn’t shed. No differentiation between him and a shedding 150 pound dog lounging on the furniture and or shedding. nThe grounds were pleasant. Our neighbours were friendly.

  5. Kelowna holiday

We called ahead to find out if we could use the activities that the trailer families had access to.. Then we called and asked if we could store our luggage for part of the day as we had to leave our first resort in the morning and store it in the packed car until the afternoon. The front desk ladies were so accommodating and said we could store our baggage and any food we had. The unit was great all on the one floor. The coffee machine made excellent coffee. The little restaurant on site was excellent. They even had deals for a couple. Their entertainment was so nice – just background singing and guitar.

  6. Great place!

     (5 / 5)

I called a week before our arrival to see about early check in and was told to come by but the person added our room as priority. When we did arrive to my surprise we were able to check in (About 4 hours early). I imagine this was due to the season. The room was a one bedroom with full kitchen. The room is large and was great for the three of us that were there. I used my timeshare to book here and so not sure the actual cost but for me it was a great value and we will go back! The only issue is the beds & pillows could use updating.

  7. Great family spot!

RCI Points, out dated rooms but worth it because it’s great for families and location is perfect. Definitely needs better toilet paper so maybe take your own, otherwise it’s all you need. Just make sure if you want a larger room, book ahead of time.

  8. A very nice resort that we would visit again

     (5 / 5)

Was not aware of this this place but glad we were able to get into it . The units were very spacious and well maintained. Access to everywhere was also good . Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The only thing we missed was their golf course which had been damaged by flooding. Would recommend to a family and if one has mobility problems ask for a ground floor

  9. Large RV resort near Kelowna with condo accomodation

     (3 / 5)

Resort is easy to find close to highway on Vernon side of Kelowna. Short trip to airport and all of Kelowna’s services, shops and tourist stuff. Accommodation in condos is well serviced and clean–but not for us as resort is large with all the RV’s –which is good if you like that type of thing, Also as rooms have potential for interco ection–the link does lead to a potential for noise transference–you can hear your neighbors tv easily. Resort facilities like the pool and gym, although not the most modern, were well kept and good to use. Ideal for families.

  10. Holiday Park Resort, September 07, 2018

Very nice, friendly, safe resort within driving distance of Kelowna, and all that wine country brings. The resort is very packed, with upscale park model, and recent holiday trailers. The landscaping is very well done to accentuate privacy, while not being overdone. Everything inside this gated, secure park well manicured, modern, and well maintained. Staff are numerous, friendly, and helpful. There are a number of pool/hot tub areas available to use, and the pool is heated to 99 deg f, so it is like a warm conversation pit. The one we used was adult only, so it was great. Lots of extra facilities, library, meeting rec center, etc.. There are water craft for guests usage.Unfortunately, their beach and golfcourse recently washed out, so are unusable. The lake is not anything like the deep, clear swim-able lakes in the area. There is a nice walking/biking path right from the property to the north end of wood lake, which is about 15-20 km long(abandoned rail line, refurbished)
