This was my second trip and my grand-childrens’ ‘eleventieth’ trip. Always interesting. Reply TripAdvisor Loved it! (5 / 5) on January 26, 2019 So much history so close to home. Had a wonderful time exploring the heritage of our town at the museum. Reply TripAdvisor A Very Fun & Interesting Tour (4 / 5) on January 26, 2019 I had the great privledge to be one of the parent escorts to my granddaughters kindergarten class to the museum. What a fantastic time we all had. We were greeted at the door by our resident tour guide Mr. Bowman who did an amazing job speaking to the kids. He had some very good hands on items to pass around the class and was very knowledgeable about the museum and displays. We spent approx. 1 1/2 hours inside This Vernon gem is well worth the time to stop in to view the many displays and exibits from our past. Will definately go again. Admission is by donation. Reply TripAdvisor Lot of memories (5 / 5) on January 26, 2019 A nice place to bring the grandchildren and show them the things we grew up around and a good time to tell them stories of the past. Not too big a place, just nice and quaint Reply TripAdvisor Take a Walk down Memory Lane (4 / 5) on January 26, 2019 This is a fantastic place to visit in your spare time, this place is really nice and moderately sized for a town like Vernon, if you have any questions about Vernon or want to know more about the history then the staff will be more than happy to help you. Reply TripAdvisor Small but special (4 / 5) on January 26, 2019 This isn’t a huge museum but one of my favorite. They have a lot packed in and it is all very well displayed. My family has donated a lot to the museum and the staff have always be outstanding. They never have turned away questions or help which was one of the reasons we have donated a lot of local heritage. My family settled in Vernon in the 1880’s and the museum have always appreciated our history. Well worth the visit.
