  1. A Local Favourite

     (4 / 5)

We were told by locals to check this place out shortly after it got up and running (2018) and we were pleasantly surprised. The proprietor was who served us on our first visit and was able to show us around the building a bit and explain some of the history. After that we’ve taken out of town guests and they’ve always enjoyed it. Still a limited menu and limited ciders to select from but they’re delicious. The prices are not cheap although on one particular visit we had the pie and it was a huge, with whipped cream for only $5. Catering to larger gatherings like weddings and functions this place is a unique location to check out.

  2. Very Nice Rural Setting Just Outside of Armstrong

     (4 / 5)

Our friends who live in Salmon Arm took us to Farmstrong Cider to sample the cider and have some lunch. We tried the pear and dry cider and a third one which I cannot remember. We liked the dry one the best. The lunch menu is quite limited and may vary from day to day. The day we visited there were three types of pizza, and we tried two of them. They tasted pretty good, but were quite small and did not have an abundance of toppings and they were quite expensive for what they were. The cider is also fairly expensive at $6.00 per bottle. It is a nice spot to visit, but we thought it was overpriced for what we got. The young lady who served us the cider samples may have been new, but she did not seem to know very much about anything that we asked her which did not leave us with a great impression.

  3. Great cider

     (4 / 5)

Terrific modern set up which uses sections of the old bard to give it a great feeling. Looks like they have an excellent function room for summer events The young server was a bit curt and uninterested, although knowledgeable. Oddly they only did tasting of a couple of ciders and the one we and a group of 4 ladies really wanted to try (pear) was not one. We bought a bottle to try and then bought a pack of 4. Not super cheap, but nice and dry. nnDidn’t try any food The parking appeared to be at the entrance side of the building, but is in fact at the back where the entrance to the tasting room is and a no parking sign on the right made us keep driving. We drove all the way around the building and parked where all the other cars were and walked into the pressing room. They are presumably staff!

  4. A must go

An amazing atmosphere with phenomenal personal service for your entire visit. Cider product absolutely spectacular and food great addition. Once you visit you will definitely want to return.

  5. New Life in an Old Barn

     (5 / 5)

We followed the signs to find this beautiful property and were welcomed by the owner and his three friendly dogs. The old farm barn has been renovated into a cidery and newly constructed tasting room. The original barn is still there and the multicolored metal roof and original antique orchard implements give it a distinctive character. The two varieties of cider were tasty, and the wood fired pizzas were excellent. Apples were offered for tasting and the newly built (and air conditioned) tasting room was modern and welcoming. nnThe story of the property and its transformation as told by the owner were very interesting. Well worth visiting for the cider and beautiful setting.

  6. Great cidery, amazing pizza

     (5 / 5)

We went there on a whim on a Sunday afternoon. I was amazed with this place. The cidery is rustic meeting a modern tasting roon. The ciders were so good, while not getting overly sweet. We then had their garlic scape and chicken woodfire pizza which was amazing. This place is great and also good for hosting a wedding or event. Highly recommended.

  7. Great pizza and home brewed cider!

     (5 / 5)

I attended their Grand Opening today and was very impressed. The place was buzzing with locals and out of towners alike. First you have to taste their dry and sweeter ciders, all made from home grown apples and brewed on site, with no water or sugar added, just all apple goodness! Then try their outdoor oven baked thin crust pizza. Absolutly mouth watering! Its a wonderful gathering place for friends and the view of the valley spectacular.
