  1. Okanagan Valley Park

Ellison Provincial Park is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Scenic British Columbia. We were hunting for a washroom and a picnic spot with scenery and a water view, we found it here. What is not to love even on an overcast day?

  2. Exccellent park and beaches

We came here twice on our vacation. First time we stayed on a granite beach. You need water shoes as this beach is hard on your feet without them. Second time on a more sandy beach. Long hike from parking lot, but worth it when you get to the beaches. Large rock formations and crystal clear water was very nice. Definitely visit thiis park if you are in the area. Only aboutt 15 KM from Vernon. Nice picniic area, very clean.

  3. Quiet time not enforced

Of course the main draw of this park is the gorgeous beaches, and they are beyond compare. This is a park that draws 2 groups of people-families with young children and teens/20 somethings that want a place to go drinking without supervision. At about 9 pm the whole park was dark and silent save for the groups of partiers who screamed, laughed, played loud music, and audibly threw up ud83eudd2e. The latter groups carried on until early morning every night of our stay, and were never told by park hosts to keep it down. We have a portable white noise machine and earplugs, but because the sites are all right on top of each other they were useless against the noise. If you live anywhere nearby it’s best to take a day trip to the beach and avoid staying the night. If you like being able to fall asleep before midnight it’s best to avoid this party hot-spot.

  5. Fun mountain biking trails

     (4 / 5)

Seems like a popular place for locals to mountain bike. We spent about an hour on the trails and had a great ride. Signage could have been better but Trail Forks app kept us on track.

  6. Very nice

Came here on my cousins boat. We parked outside the beach and explored the area. Very nice cove with lots of picnic tables. Never saw the campground but looking at the area it must be nice. Climbed up onto the rocks overlooking the lake. Gorgeous view!
