  1. The perfect location

     (5 / 5)

Stayed at the deep roots cabin again and it did not disappoint. The views are spectacular and the homemade muffins and granola were shamefully addictive. Comfy bed and pillows rounded off the visit nicely.

  2. Lovely Patio for a Snack

     (4 / 5)

Great wine and personable tasting room staff. The inside tasting room is small. We enjoyed snacks on the upstairs patio, which was a fun way to break up the wine tour day!

  3. A tasty stop.

     (4 / 5)

Quite the tasty Gamay! We partook in their lovely picnic tables & had a bite to eat after a generous tasting.

  4. Scenic!

     (4 / 5)

First time visit! The winery site is very scenic. They accommodated us for a group of 8 very well. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly! The only gripe we had was most of their wines were sold out. We didn’t get to try all of them. We will come back.. Thanks.

  5. Not very noteworthy

     (3 / 5)

The Syrah is the only noteworthy wine here: I liked their 2014 one well enough to buy a couple of bottles although the $34 price tag is a bit steep for what it is.

  6. Small and Quaint

     (5 / 5)

This small winery is tucked away at the end of Tillar Road. When we arrived, the owner was busy with a wine tour group but we were able to find what we came for — their tasty Gamay wine. The tasting room staff was friendly and personable. There is a lovely, outside picnic area complete with tables where one can enjoy the scenery while eating. There are views of the surrounding mountains and lake. Although small, this winery has lots to offer.
