  1. Wonderful spot to visit and purchase some fruit

We stopped here on our way through Vernon and weren’t disappointed. The varieties of apples were mind boggling. We were lucky enough to see the fall/Halloween displays as well. Well worth a visit!

  2. Lovely place

This was the second time I’ve been to Davidson’s Orchard and it was just as amazing as it was the first time. We love taking our grandchildren there.

  3. PUMPKIN TIME AND DAVISON ORCHARDS GO TOGETHER----FAMILY ORIENTED

     (5 / 5)

It’s a farm with animals to see; an orchard with fruit to buy; ride a tractor—have some pumpkin or apple pie; fudge; or ice cream; take your picture with the hundreds of pumpkins; a great family fare…price….FREE

  4. Good for a warm fall day.

Came to Vernon specifically for Davison Orchards. We wanted to take our children for a tractor train ride and to get a couple of pumpkins. The trip was a success. We also had a hamburger a couple of hotdogs and a veggie sandwich. Their apple pie is the best I’ve found in the BC south interior . Very busy but lots to do so it’s a great afternoon.

  5. Family fun times are the orchard!!

  6. Always a lovely stop!

As a family with three young boys, this place has always been a fun place for us to visit. They’ve made their play area free now, which has made it accessible to everyone. They have a playground out front and the large play space in the back. We haven’t experienced the playgrounds to be overly busy or chaotic anytime we’ve gone, whether weekday or weekend. Another fun feature is their little farm animal area. There, you can see their miniature ponies, chickens, sheep and feed their goats. The whole space has been updated and is quite nice! nnTheir tractor rides seem to be getting better every year, making adjustments based on customer feedback. You get pulled along in little apple carts behind a huge tractor, and learn some history of the farm as well as apple growing. nnWe’ve eaten at their cafe many times. They have delicious options for kids and adults. Our favourite is for sure their triple grilled cheese. They also feature their famous appleanches, which are their apple juice turned into slushies. They have their tasty pies and other baked goods as well to eat. Prices are decent for a touristy spot. The views are gorgeous, overlooking their orchard and more of the arigricultural lands across the valley. nnThe market is of course where it’s at! If you have the time, you can spend a long time exploring all the lovely kitchen decor and neat kitchen gadgets in there. They have their apples for sample, as well as their salsas. They sell lots of fresh fruits and veggies, as well as frozen baked goods, sausages, apple juice, etc. They have a small but unique toy selection, and sell their homemade ice cream. Lots of confectionary items as well. There’s a cute toy tractor with apple carts making its way around the top of the market. They’ve figured out how to run their checkouts efficiently. nnThere’s a new building where you’re able to observe some of the magic happen. They’ve also got new washrooms to use. What’s fun is they often run themed weekends as well. Overall, a must do for families or market lovers.

  7. Will exceed expectations

This is a fruit stand that will blow your mind . Amazing what they have developed from the basic concept and now is something that you can spend hours at . I would challenge new comers to go through everything and not find something new and different to buy . Great for kids as well as adults

  8. Okanagan's Best Orchard & Tourist Stop!

     (5 / 5)

Whether you are a teen, a young family with kids or a mature adult, you will find something of interest at the charming and top rated family run Davidson Orchards. Walk through the country store filled with fresh produce, home made jams, dips, dressings, candy, pies and have a taste! Wander through the gift shop and find homey decor and practical gifts for friends and family. Step outside and see the tractor-pulled train, full of laughing children with their parents as they tour the farm. Step up into the petting zoo and then play in the kids playground with activities for all ages. Don’t forget to stop at May’s cafe located in the original Davidson farmhouse where you can enjoy home made soup, sandwiches, mouth watering pies and natural apple juice or coffee. Sit on the veranda overlooking the beautiful Okanagan Valley facing Mission Hill with a beautiful view of the orchards When we have company visiting Vernon, Davidson Orchards is one of the first places we take our guests. It’s our own home grown gem of the Okanagan. You won’t want to miss it!

  9. So much going on!

     (5 / 5)

I was surprised at how full the parking lot was for a late October day. But there are decorated pumpkins, a pumpkin castle, a pumpkin band, chickens, sheep, goats, lots of old farm tractors to look at, play areas for kids, a cafe, fabulous shopping. Lots to keep you occupied. The store has lots of sauces, jams, baked goods ( you can watch some of the staff making the pies), cheeses, fudge, gift ideas. The seasonal produce for sale was a large variety of pumpkins, squashes, apples, onions. You can buy tickets for a farm tour and hop on a tractor-pulled wagon train. There are lots of picnic tables in the farm area and several bistro tables outside the store. This was a great place to stop.
