  1. Nice location and friendly new hosts

     (4 / 5)

Herman, Paul and Manjit welcomed us with good hospitality, tastes of the wines from their new winery and lots of chat about wine making and fruit growing in the Valley. They have recently acquired this very nice building and are busy updating it. Our small, comfortable room had a balcony with views up and down the Valley, and it’s far enough from Hwy 97 that traffic noise is not a problem.

  2. Great breakfast but...

     (3 / 5)

Great hosts and amazing breakfast but the share bathrooms didn’t work for me at all. It’s a bit too much to hear a stranger in the washroom behind my door doing their business while I can her them watching videos on their phone.

  3. Best kept B&B secret in Osoyoos

     (5 / 5)

2 miles north of Osoyoos, amidst vineyards and orchards – a wonderful B&B location to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday combined with a family wedding a iversary celebration. Hosts Richard and Lorraine have a spotless, efficient retreat. Richard’s gourmet breakfast treats are out of this world, accompanied by Lorraine’s fresh cherry toppings. We were greeted with a complimentary refreshing wine spritzer from their Le Coin Perdu vineyard (‘the lost corner’) and enjoyed two restful nights of perfect sleep in our accommodations. A variety of accommodations are available – our quiet suite #4 had a northern exposure facing the vineyards, with a cool evening breeze. Thank you Richard and Lorraine – we will definitely return!!

  4. Great experience

     (5 / 5)

We stayed here for a week late September to early October and very much appreciated the quiet setting, the views of the vineyard, the comfortable room and especially the gourmet breakfasts – our host, Richard, gave us a different, delicious breakfast every day. Richard also offered advice on things to see and do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again.

  5. Not a good experience

     (3 / 5)

While our room was comfortable and in a nice vineyard setting it was spoilt by the rather rude owner who was not welcoming. Perhaps he should look for something outside of the hospitality industry. It would be helpful to have tea, coffee or some beverages available since this location is a few kms out of town.

  6. OK, I was wrong... !

     (5 / 5)

I’m not a great fan of B & Bs. Let’s face it, I prefer hotels and even motels… so I was a little a oyed when my better half booked a B & B near Osoyoos. How wrong can you be? Countryside B & B proved to be the _best_ accommodation we’ve enjoyed this year. (Three _extended_ trips, driving well over 12,000 kms on two continents so far this year.) In every single respect, this two-night stay excelled… Let’s look at the pluses: – Comfortable room with everything we neededn (Yes, shared bathroom, but excellent facilities… and every effort made to provide _sole_ access…) – Great bedroom-window / patio view across the vineyard; – Truly outstanding breakfast (Best cheese omelette either of us have _ever_ eaten!) Delicious, generous, varied breakfast choices, with freshly-brewed coffee and tea. Gluten-free waffles on offer. Treats of fresh fruit, muesli bars, and a water cooler available in the dining room; – Complimentary merlot. We enjoyed several glasses of this site-grown outstanding red! – Shady outdoor seating / luncheon / di er area; – Best, most reliable wifi we’ve enjoyed in the last two months of travel… . We’ve suffered frustrating, unreliable internet at 95% of hotels and motels, losing data and documentation in the process*; … and a gracious, thoughtful host. Thank you, Richard! * It should be noted that we deduct one TA star when this occurs numerous times… or when our attempts at co ection _repeatedly_ fail… . Hosts, please note that due to your telcos’ sins-of-omission, your overseas guests critically _need_ reliable wifi.

  7. A lucky find.

This B&B was a lovely surprise! Clean, comfortable bedroomnwith ensuite and T.V. Beautiful vineyard setting but close enough to town and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing!nProprietors were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

  8. Excellent location and good facilities

     (4 / 5)

We stayed only one night at the B&B, although we understand most people stay for several days sampling the local vintages. At the time we arrived there was a bushfire in the valley and so we Australians felt right at home with the water bombing and smell of fire. Visited the nearby Osoyoos Desert Centre – well worth the trip.
