  1. Quiet and very nice

This winery was quiet when we were there. Modern and very nice. Wine tasting and service was excellent. Nice views. Very nice wines

  2. Excellent!

…And Carlene made it even more memorable! We really enjoyed our tastings with her along with her good sense of humour, her knowledge of wine and their company and her helpfulness to choose bottles to send home. nGreat wines – definitely one to stop at on the Oliver/osoyoos wine tour! nn

  3. One of my favourites

     (5 / 5)

Visited Church and State for the third time, brought another couple along with us. nnA couple was just finishing up so no wait really at all. Advised of tasting fee which is credited back with purchase, pretty standard for the area Our server was nice and informative, ended up purchasing a case of wine with 10% discount I’m sure we will return again next year.

  4. Decent wines and some good views

     (3 / 5)

As other reviewers have noted, Church & State is under new management and, while the facility is promising, the tasting experience is still a bit scratchy. The wines are good especially the Syrah that we tasted & subsequently purchased and the woman behind the counter super friendly. But there doesn’t seem to be an inviting atmosphere there – it’s hard to put your finger on what’s missing. Admittedly, there is an impressive outdoor patio setup for tastings (it was closed when we were there) and a nice few sets of lounge furniture to relax in.

  5. A little diversion off the golden mile

     (4 / 5)

Beautiful winery with an outside and inside tasting area. Great staff and very good wines, the Syrah in particular, which we purchased. Well worth the visit, a 5-10 minute drive off the golden mile.

  6. Just keeps getting better!

     (4 / 5)

The wine really is improving….but on top of that was our amazing server…love it when the person pouring is as passionate about wine as she is! 3rd visit in 5 years and it just keeps getting better! Cheers!
