  1. Furry friends welcomed!

     (5 / 5)

This is what we love about Kelowna – the large off-leash dog friendly parks! Cedar Creek Park is no exception as the views to West Kelowna are stunning. Most cities would limit this to on-leash but Kelowna welcomes all! The beach is fully accessible to our dog and despite the large stones, is a good place for swimming, chasing sticks or just cooling off. If you want to go for a dip too, be sure to bring your water shoes.

  2. Great trails plus dog park!

     (5 / 5)

This is a great place to visit with your dog! There are trails all over up and down the hill right beside the lake where you can unleash your furry friend to jump in for a swim! There are a few parking spots down by the water where you can park, launch a boat, swim and even some cement tables with attached seating. Bring a snack, a hat or umbrella since there aren’t many trees for shade. Fun place for people and dogs!

  3. Great dog beach!

A stone beach. Lots of space to walk. Some picnic tables. Good swimming for people and dogs in July and August.

  4. Great for dog walking

Nice location and relaxing for dogs and people. Kelowna has made their foreshore a people priority and I love it!

  5. dog beach/park

Great place to take your fury friend, especially during the heat of summer. Friendly dogs and owners, and lots of room to run or swim.

  6. Good Stopping point

     (4 / 5)

We were cycling Lakeshore and stopped for a quick break at this scenice park. There are nice grassy areas, facilities and the amazing view of the lake.

  7. Great Hike and History

     (5 / 5)

I highly recommend this area. Some great history and stunning views of the lake. Easy to intermediate hiking but very relaxing.

  8. Great for dogs

I found the beach a bit dirty (thanks to poor dog owners) so not nice for kids to play at As well the boat launch is a short paved area that has you in the gravel if your trailer is longer than most – bigger boat. The parking for boats is also not ideal. nnIf you prefer a rocky beach with cement picnic tables, then this is the place!
