Casa Loma Bed & Breakfast

Casa Loma Bed & Breakfast

  1. A room with a view

     (5 / 5)

We stayed 2 nights and didn’t regret our choice for many reasons: the friendliness of the owners who make you feel really welcome. The cleanliness of the place. The view from the window and deck. The excellent wifi. The healthy breakfast. The photos on the website don’t do the place justice. The room is larger and the view better.

  2. The best B&B!!

     (5 / 5)

This was without a doubt the best B&B we experienced on our recent trip to western Canada. The mezzanine suite is enormous, comfortable, modern and well equipped. Merle and Lou were wonderful hosts – helpful, interesting, witty and generous. The breakfast was very good. I wish we had booked more than one night!

  3. Excellent B&B not to be missed in Kelowna

     (5 / 5)

We’ve stayed at many B&B’s and were delighted to have found this one in Kelowna. Merle and Lou are wonderful hosts. Their B&B is well run. Everything is neat and clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast met our every need and the views over the lake were marvellous. Will definitely stay here again when in Kelowna. There is very easy access to the bridge to Central Kelowna.

  4. Beautiful and will not disappoint

     (5 / 5)

Merle and Lou were wonderful. The house and view were amazing! Not far from downtown Kelowna and beautiful hiking trails . A very comfortable and relaxing accommodation. The breakfasts were very good and Lou and Merle made it comfortable to sit and chat.

  5. Somewhat disappointing, considering the rave reviews

     (3 / 5)

The house is beautiful and well kept, with wonderful views over Kelowna and the Okanagan Lake. The rooms were clean and very pleasant to be in. We had a good nights sleep only to be woken at about 6am (!) by the couple’s grown son playing the guitar in the kitchen. Being in the mezzanine bedroom, I was directly above the kitchen/living room, so the playing was really bothersome. When we came down for breakfast, we were served delicious breakfast burrito and yoghurt with fruit. While tasty, the portions were really small and we were still hungry. The hosts never offered anything else nor did they ask if we were full – they were very keen to take our plates once we finished. And we certainly weren’t made to feel comfortable enough to even ask for seconds. Straight after we finished eating, the host said u201cOK, I take cash, credit and debit cardu201d… Maybe it’s me, but, with BnB, I’m used to hosts being more subtle about these things – I don’t know, something like u201cdo you want to sort out the formalities now or when you check out?u201d Don’t get me wrong, Merle and Lou are lovely people but the hospitality aspect of our stay left to be desired and we got the impression that they couldn’t be bothered, perhaps knowing that they’d be fully booked anyway.

  6. Wonderfull B&B

     (5 / 5)

The hosts, Merle and Lou, made us welcome from the first moment in their beautiful split level house. Our room had a wonderful view over the Okanagan lake, and the room was spotlessly clean. Easy off-road parking. Every facility you would want is available. Merle’s breakfast has to be seen to be believed, and their conversation is highly entertaining. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here. I have rated this B&B in the luxury category as it is leagues above the average B&B. Budget prices for luxury accommodation. Well done Merle and Lou.

  7. The best b&b we have ever had !

     (5 / 5)

Beautifull house and superb location. Merle and Lou were very friendly and we enjoyed very much our conversation with them. Great breakfast and very clean and nice room. We had the loft suite. Wow! If you are looking for a b&b in West Kelowna, don’t hesitate: go to Casa Loma ! You will not regret it !

  8. Perfect ud83dudc4cud83cudffc B&B !!

     (5 / 5)

This B&B is located in a quit street in West Kelowna. Easy parking. Location is perfect for a wine tour ud83cudf77, it is located close to the boucherie road where you have almost all the wineries. You can even walk trough a natural park road from the B&B to quails gate winery (50minutes walk). The B&B self:nJust perfection!! Super clean, beautiful room, nice terrace with a view on the lake. nThe owners are very nice and friendly people, they make you feel at home at your B&B. nThe breakfast is SUPERB! Every day at 8am, a show cooking in the kitchen. nEvery day something new and fresh: from tacos to waffles to omelette to eggs Benedict…. you will be spoiled ud83dude0a. Perfect place to explore the Kelowna region!! Vineyards, the lake, Myra Canyon bike tours, a Kangeroo farm. We stayed for 3 nights and we enjoyed everything about it ud83dudc4dud83cudffb

  9. Unregretable getaway

     (5 / 5)

Had to renew our passports and rather than same day dash to Kelowna and back, we thought why not make it a two day getaway. What a great idea it turned out to be. We found Casa Loma Bnb, and it was a good choice. They have a one bedroom (large) and another bedroom with a loft. We choose the loft option. I enjoyed the evening reading in the loft (separate from our bedroom), and there’s also a tv there. The view from the bedroom looks out over Okanagan Lake. The bathroom is recently updated the whole facility is very clean and well looked after. It is easily undestandable, as Merle and Lou enjoy hosting guests. Have to try her breakfast special. We thought we chat for a few minutes during breakfast, but it was so amicable, almost an hour passed by easily. Being in their company, there are signs that they love what they do. Their location is very easy to get to and from downtown Kelowna. This trip filled our purpose and enjoyment just very nicely. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and used them again.

  10. Quiet location, Awesome hosts, Great place to stay

     (5 / 5)

Stayed here for 3 days. The hosts are super sweet and provide a great place to stay. Breakfasts consisted of breakfast burrito and a fruit bowl, a Belgian waffle loaded with fruit and whipped cream, and your choice of a veggie or ham and cheese omelette. The room is large; it has a queen size bed, AC, fan, TELUS Optik TV, a small sofa, and a private bathroom with shower, bathtub, and dual sinks. The room has a door to a massive deck with a view of the Okanagan. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Kelowna.
