  1. Short stay

     (3 / 5)

We arrived for a short stay in the area. We has a nice view from our lake view spot. The price was a bit high though. Also traffic from the highway can be heard below although with A/C on at night it can’t be heard. I wasn’t comfortable letting the kids go in the small pool as it didn’t seem too clean. Playground could also be updated. My son liked trying to find apricots on the trees. Goos for a short stay.

  3. Pleasantly surprised!!

We stayed here in our 28 foot trailer for the first time in July and had an awesome experience! The pool was refreshing and clean, our neighbors were all nice and helpful, the view is spectacular and we had freshly baked, warm Croissants delivered to our trailer door in the morning. ot sure what it is like to tent here, but our experience was great!

  4. It's okay.

The campground is decent – it’s set in an old orchard (trees had no fruit this year which was a bit of a relief not having squished apricots tracked into the trailer). The pool is decent, but they shut it down at 8:00 which felt super earlynTo everyone partaking in it. Most sites are quite small. We stayed at Banbury Green our first night here and far preferred it. They had no vacancy for the remainder of our trip so we went back to Camp Along. Rates at Camp Along are less though, so if you’re on a tighter budget, this place is alright.

  5. 5 night Stay

     (3 / 5)

Our party of 3 stayed here for 5 nights. Our destination was the beach; and it was about a 5 minute drive to get to Penticton. It would of been great to able to have beach access and walk there but the drive was short enough. We loved waking up to the sound of highway noise every morning. Beats my brother in laws snoring! It was great to see lots of families here, Definitely not a party site. I found the sites to be very crammed, ours was long and narrow and we where surprised to see it was very hilly. The cleanliness was the best thing about this place. The bathrooms and laundry where extremely clean and there was a covered garbage can on our site which was super convenient and was emptied every morning.

  6. Campground along Hwy 97 - don't expect a quiet sleep

     (3 / 5)

Most of the tenting campsites were unoccupied and it was easy to understand why. Due to the volume of traffic along Hwy 97 through Kaleden, it was difficult to get a good night sleep with all the highway traffic noise. The bathrooms were tidy and the cost of a hot shower only costs a few quarters. Bring earplugs and don’t plan to tent it for more than one night – definitely a stop-along camp-along campsite for tenters.
