Cabana Beach Campground & RV Park

Cabana Beach Campground & RV Park

Operates approx May 15 – Sept 15 each summer. A small, family-run campground located on Osoyoos Lake, near the Town of Osoyoos in BC Canada. Established in the 1960’s this campground has always catered to families, seniors, couples and single travellers. The campground accepts tents, small/medium-sized RVs and also offers to those needing a simple budget sleeping unit several camping cabins and bedroom cabanas – these rooms comes with beds, mattresses, lights, electricity, a fridge, sink, mini-stove, and outdoor patio (weekly stays only in summer). Although an older park, Cabana Beach Campground has unique features that you will not likely find at older/rustic or provincial campsites : the 3-sided ‘kitchen cabana’ shelters come with a picnic table, sink, light, and elec outlet and are included at most of the tent sites, with optional fridge rental available. Some modern amenities are also:fully tiled, coin-op showers, free use of central wifi, free use of air-compressor hose to quickly fill up your air-beds, bike tires, and all your floating water toys. Park owners live on-site. This park has strictly enforced common-sense campsite rules – No noise or behaviours which annoy or disturb other campers. For this reason, radios or tv’s must be off by 10 pm, and ‘quiet time’ is at 11 pm .

  1. Campingplatz direkt am See

  2. Nice campground, very nice staff

This campground was very nice, and the staff was wonderful! It was $40 to stay in a no service site, which is pretty expensive but it’s Osoyoos. Showers are 24/7 and that’s always nice. Pretty close to the beach too!

  3. So far so good!

Just arrived but so impressed with the personal and promt service! They listened to our needs and made it happen. We have a strange camping arrangement with camper and tent ect but they made it work last minute. Thank you!

  4. Will Not Book Again!

Have stayed here for years and was wonderful then. This year was a complete 360 degree turn around. It was horrible. We continually had children ru ing through our site at all hours ( this is attributed to parents who would rather party than parent). They were actually ru ing into you. It was not safe for them or my father who is a senior. nThe beach was clean as always. Unfortunately you had large groups of people on giant floats who were drinking and encouraging their children to go fast in their hard-bodied kayaks ( which according to the owner, are not allowed in the swimming area). One father jumped into one and said ‘Ramming Speed!!’ And almost hit my father, who is a senior. When I complained to management they said they would handle it. There were no kayaks in the area for 2 hours and that was it! It was chaos and the policies of the campground were not enforced diligently as they had in years before. The cleanliness of the cabins and bathrooms were questionable and if you had paper towels to dry your hands, it was a treat! nIt’s a shame we had to make the best of it. But family always makes things better.nI know I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. I hope the campground turns around for the better. But for my family, it was the worst experience we had ever had there.

  5. Camping options are here

We lucked out on a beach site ( without reservation) which I hear is rare. There are tent sites with cabanas – fridge sink etc which is a nice touch….the Rv sites are jammed in though…too many I think. BUT! The beach is private and very nice.nThe owners are awesome, helpful, friendly and invited us back. Nice to see owners that actually appreciate your business.nCentral wifi, showers and laundry
