  1. Amazing Food!

This place has the best authentic Thai cuisine around! Affordable menu, and the staff are always fantastic and efficient. Soups are really wicked!

  2. The BUN I've had !

     (4 / 5)

Bun Ta Pho in Lake Country BC, is by far one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to, and there has been many. It is also one of the most spotless. The Pho is incredible, the broth is rich, succulent, and just plain delicious, combined with rice noodles, vegetables , and meats if you so choose, and you have a hearty soup that will have me returning again. The salad rolls ordered were fresh, the spicy peanut satay that accompanies delightful with just the right amount of heat. The ginger beef dish a symphony of flavour that will leave you craving more. Add in imported Saigon Export lager beer ice cold and you are set. This gem of a place is well known to locals, a little out of the way, set in a back area of a strip mall off the Main street in Lake Country, same plaza as Shoppers and the BC Liquor store, and well worth finding. The care, presentation and especially quality and taste are exceptional. No wonder " BUN " in Vietnamese means BEST !

  3. Yummy

Wonderfully tasty. I had orange chicken that was a bit spicy, but very good. They also offer foods celiacs can eat. Many in fact.

  4. Hidden gem!

     (5 / 5)

Lived in lake country awhile now and had not found this place. Clean, friendly and food was great. Reading reviews about the price I’m not sure I agree. The fast food places that are pure crap are same prices. So I will take fresh good food every time. I will be back for sure.

  5. Unexpected Find

     (5 / 5)

Pho is one of my comfort foods. I often head out for some in the Lower Mainland, if I want something tasty but not too filling or when I feel a cold coming on. Sometimes I change it up a bit and order a rice or noodle bowl instead. I did not expect to find one of the best Vietnamese places in Winfield. The restaurant is open, bright and inviting. It was a quiet mid-week night and my server, Mariana, was an absolute delight. She was helpful and informative. After waffling for a bit, trying to decide what to order, she recommended the House Special, " Springroll, Marinated Pork, and Shrimp Served with lettuce, cucumbers, bean sprouts, pickled daikon & carrots, topped with peanuts, green onions, and cilantro. With Fish Sauce Vinaigrette". I’m glad I did. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Mariana explained that everything was made on site and that’s why it was so good. A week later, I took friends there for lunch and they were all very pleased with the food as well.

  6. Good, but expensive.

After seeing so many positive reviews on this place I was disappointed in my experience. I can’t fault this location for the flavour of it’s food or it’s service, but I found the portion sizes small for the price paid.If I’m paying $15 for a Wor Wonton, I kind of expect more than just four wontons in it. One of my dining partners had a noodle dish that had had the noodles breaking apart on them. Unfortunately, there’s better places in Kelowna for me to warrant another trip out to LC to eat here again.

  7. Really Good

First time eating here, went for lunch, had the curry shrimp and it was delicious. Good portion size. I will absolutely eat here again.

  8. Absolutely AMAZING!

My partner and I LOVE this place! Their Pho Tai is unbelievably delicious and their Salad rolls as well. The peanut sauce is to die for. The service is excellent, ingredients are fresh. Every time we have a bit of extra cash we treat ourselves to this great place!
