  2. New Years done right

Decided to try it and why not for one of the biggest days of the year. Truly amazing experience. Small. Quaint place. The flavours are equisite and with each course gets better. The sea bass pastry was the lightest and best I have ever eaten. Delicious meal and unreal experience.

  3. Brilliant.

Lovely, cozy, warm, beautiful restaurant. Fancy and casual at the same time. Brilliant service (Thank you Zoe for some of the best service we’d ever had in a restaurant). French Onion soup was to die for. Same with the beef & duck (according to my husband, who also splurged for the Fois Gras which he said was stellar). The lemon tart with peanut brittle crumble was insanely good. It’s not a cheap place to eat, but it also doens’t feel awful to pay quite a bit. It’s nice to feel like the $ was worth it. Highly recommend.

  4. Excellent vegan-friendly French restaurant

     (5 / 5)

Being lactose intolerant I usually avoid French restaurants because I worry it would be difficult to order dairy-free. Definitely didn’t have that problem at Bouchons! There were tons of dairy-free entree options, not to mention some vegan entrees and cheese selections. We had the charcuterie, vegan cheeses, the cassoulet and the duck confit, and everything was amazing. The wine and service were excellent as well. Will definitely go back on future trips to Kelowna!

  8. Well worth a visit

     (5 / 5)

Just ate at Bouchons yesterday with my best friend. The service was very professional and the food reminded me fondly of my travels to France. The price fixe menu is a fantastic deal at $52 and they have an impressive wine list. Even when they ran out of items on the price fixe menu, they replaced them with something even more amazing. We truly enjoyed every course and the decor/atmosphere is equally as charming. Would definitely return. Be sure to make a reservation, the staff is quite responsive.

  9. Classic French - like being in France

     (4 / 5)

If you are wanting to get to France and may not have the travel budget- or want to reminisce of days gone by while in France…. Book a reservation at Bouchons A formal dining atmosphere yet allows the more casual Okanagan dress code is completely acceptable. Food is classic French dishes Great cheese platers, and offer a multi u2018course’ menu that can be quite creative. With Fries- frites to all that dine- served in a cone of paper to enjoy with your main course A classic and quality option for a special dinner, or when you want to escape the cookie cutter u2018reheated food served at the many chains that are in Kelowna’

  10. A truly authentic French bistro

     (4 / 5)

Sitting in Bouchons you’d be hard pressed to believe you’re actually in downtown Kelowna. It truly looks and feels like the real deal including the decorations and furnishings, the menu board in French and a great selection of traditional French dishes. The food is pretty good – I thoroughly enjoyed the country pate appetizer, red snapper and creme caramel dessert (all on the prix fixe menu for $52). My table mates loved the steaks frites and beef filet. The service is excellent, the prices fair if a little on the high side and the dining room very comfortable.
