  1. Beautiful home and great hosts

Cheryle and George are great hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and go the extra mile with the amazing food they offer. We truly didn’t expect the pampering we got. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The space is beautiful, and the view from their patio is amazing.nWe enjoyed sharing stories with Cheryle and George. They are well travelled and fun to chat with.nOur visit was very short, but we hope to be back some day.nHighly recommend their place!

  2. Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed here for 3 nights about 2 weeks ago after our wedding. The hosts were incredibly lovely people, and very welcoming!! Breakfast was beyond our expectations, the house was lovely, and the view is amazing! The hosts definitely go above and beyond to please their guests. I would highly recommend this lovely place, and we will definitely be back!!

  3. Great hosts beautiful surroundings

     (5 / 5)

Cheryle and George have designed and built a warm and welcoming home with a spectacular view of Okanagan Lake.nBuilding the Blue Iris was obviously a labour of love that is apparent in every detail from the perfect gardens to the huge deck overlooking the lake. We especially enjoyed our suite, morning coffee and the gourmet breakfast all homemade by our hosts on the deck. Cheryle and George are wonderful hosts who enjoy sharing a glass of wine and a few laughs with their guests. They are very knowledgeable and about the beaches, orchards, and wineries in the area. We would highly recommend the Blue Iris.

  4. Warm and Welcoming

Such a lovely place. Far exceeded my expectations.nThe king room was so spacious, with an amazing view and huge bathroom.nLoved meeting the hosts, Cheryl and George. We were treated to a cheese soufflu00e9 for breakfast, with yogurt, granola and strawberries.

  5. Bliss in the Okanagon

     (5 / 5)

We stayed at this fabulous bed and breakfast during our stay in the Okanagon region. Our hosts, Cheryl and George, were friendly, kind and immensely helpful with local knowledge and generally creating a feeling of welcome within their home.nOur two rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and carefully pla ed for the traveller. The bathrooms were modern, very well equipped with excellent showers.nOn our arrival Cheryl invited us for ‘wine and nibbles’ on one of the patios where both she and George helpfully shared their knowledge of the area and advised us about restaurants etc.nThe two breakfasts were served on different patios and the food was delicious with fresh fruit and eggs cooked different ways. nOur departure was friendly with both Cheryl and George there to see us depart.nIf we were to visit this part of Canada again we would definitely stay at the Blue Iris.

  6. Superb

     (5 / 5)

We stayed with Cheryle and George for the first time in July whilst attending a wedding. They immediately made their house feel like our house and we’re so friendly and helpful, George even giving me a lift to collect my car the day after the wedding and Cheryle offering to do some urgent washing for us as we had been touring for 5 weeks. The house has sublime views across the lake and mountains whilst the house is air conditioned so the outside temperature of over 30c didn’t effect your sleep. As a bonus the local wildlife seem to love the garden plants and deer visit regularly. We will certainly return if we visit Summerland again.

  7. Short, but sweet.

We had the pleasure of staying for a weekend. I have nothing negative to say. The company, food, views and hosting were all phenomenal. I definitely recommend the Maple Room to anyone staying as you will be greeted to an amazing view of the lake. Cheryle and George provided us with excellent suggestions on which wineries to hit during our (my girlfriend and I) stay. ‘Will definitely be back.’ I’ve already extended a recommendation to some family members. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  8. Another Great Visit!

     (5 / 5)

This is our 4th visit and it just gets better! The food is very good and very healthy; the rooms are spacious and sparkling clean; the view is unbelievable; the bird watching is extraordinary. But best of all are George and Cheryl! If there are friendlier, warmer i keepers, we have yet to meet them.

  9. Good Times

We had a wonderful stay at Iris B&B. Besides we stu ingly beautiful area of Okanagan Valley with its many and visitable vineries, our personal highlight was the stay with Cheryle and George. Our hosts received us with a warm welcome including local wine and delicious homemade cream cheese. Our lovely private ensuite room granted us all the necessary privacy in the open and welcoming home. As a perfect start of the day, our hosts served us homemade breakfast like e.g quiche or granola every morning. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Iris B&B to any every traveller visiting Okanagan Lake.

  10. A perfect stay

Richard and A , Belgium. During our tour of British Columbia we were fortunate enough to land at Blue Iris B&B for a two night stay. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Cheryle and George, with a glass of wine and tasty tidbits. They also invited us to attend the performance of a local jazzy band, which we enjoyed before setting off for our evening meal. In the morning we got a superb breakfast with great attention to healthy and tasty ingredients, a repeat performance of which we received the next day. Our room was tastefully and comfortably furnished with a keen eye for any detail to make our stay most enjoyable. Apart from our pleasant visit we had great views of the surrounding landscape. All in all we found Blue Iris a real gem to be greatly recommended.
