The Bighorn Ridge is a great, relaxed place. Right in the middle of the best wineries with the most beautiful views of the Okanagan. Great hospitality and excellent amenities are provided. And our pup Travis loved it :-).

  2. Beautiful, quiet spot

Lovely four night stay in this quiet little retreat just 4k outside downtown Okanagan Falls. Beautiful views and easy access to well maintained Kettle Valley Railway trails. Lots of local wineries to choose from. Highly recommend

  3. Stayed for a week with family and our 2 Ridgeback dogs

Amazing place with stu ing views, comfortable rooms with all amenities – decorating is beautiful with lots of attention to detail and inclusions even of a flashlight for those last evening walks with the dogs. Loved the covered terrace area with BBQ, tables and lounge chairs, drinking wine from local wineries while watching the sunset – a very relaxing way to enjoy a vacation! Roger and Carla were fabulous hosts, going the extra mile letting us use their freezer to store our dogs frozen raw food, and allowing their dog, Cooper, to come visit and ‘steal’ the bones!! Okanagan Falls is a great place to visit with lots of wineries, back road exploring and Big Horn Ridge guesthouse is the best place to sit back and enjoy all the area has to offer. Many thanks Roger and Carla from the ‘smiley people’, Berry, Je y, Jon, Kniki and our dogs, River and Kohla.

  4. Wonderful Desert Retreat

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights and 4 days at Bighorn Ridge. Highly recommended. The Adobe style guest house was artistically decorated, clean and comfortable. Views from the patio overlooking vineyards and Vaseux Lake were spectacular. A great spot to kick back and indulge in some relaxing R&R. Close to a number of wineries (a couple with Bistro’s) and nice hikes. Carla and Roger and Cooper (their friendly Lab Retriever) were terrific hosts. Would definitely return.

Loved our three night stay at the Guesthouse. Kitchen is well equipped we everything you need. Loved all the sitting areas outside. Especially the swing overlooking the vineyards and valley. Our unit was cozy with everything we needed. So many thoughtful and beautiful touches. A number of wineries just near by. View of the lake was wonderful.

  6. Awesome place to stay.

Stayed here October of 2012 and it is a excellent place to stay. Bedroom and Living Room and Kitchen area were clean and well stocked with everything we needed, no stairs – rooms led right out to the patio. Patio was fun to spend the evenings on, and a BBQ to cook a meal on. A wonderful view of several wineries and the valley. Very private and quiet. The two local adorable dogs came to visit couple of times throughout the day. The owners were an enjoyable couple who answered any and all of our questions we had. Would I ever make a second visit….absolutely I wish I could have had the option to choose a date older than August 2015.

We had another lovely stay at Bighorn Ridge Guest House. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and BBQ. So comfortable. Will definitely be staying here the next time we visit. And, we might bring our dog along next time.

  8. An Oasis In The Desert....

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful guest house late August 2015. We loved the Adobe style home and all the gorgeous touches that both Carla and Roger have done. The detail of this guest house are extra right down to the light fixtures. The views are breathtaking. You couldn’t ask for anything more! We enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee in this peaceful setting. The land stewardship offers a unique glimpse into the natural flora and fauna of the region. Roger and Carla were a great help in guiding us to fantastic local restaurants and history of the area. We hope to visit again!

  9. Private and beautiful

     (5 / 5)

Bighorn Ridge was one of the highlights of our recent BC road trip. It was also the most expensive B&B we stayed at (and there is no breakfast), but worth every cent. It’s private, quiet and we just loved the whole adobe vibe. The shared kitchen with the other suite works well, and coffee supplies are there. We sat on the shared deck early morning drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds and sat our our private deck at night, star gazing.

  10. Beautiful B&B and Setting

Carla and Roger run a wonderful guest house! My wife and I just came back from a second visit there, second year in a row. Each suite is beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. While you share a kitchen with the neighbouring suite, you have your own separate areas for eating, drinking and lounging outside. Great wineries are nearby, and a couple restaurants within a 15-minute (slow) walk, or 2-3 minute drive. We always bring a small cooler of food up, including milk for coffee in the morning. We love waking up in the morning and sitting out on the swinging bench. A grocery store is a 5-7 minute drive away, and there’s an awesome fruit stand just a couple minutes away – Carla and Roger will be able to quickly point you in the right direction. The BBQ just outside the kitchen is great! I highly recommend you grab a bottle of wine and something to BBQ, and just enjoy yourself. Don’t be afraid to use the BBQ and kitchen! We look forward to coming back for years to come…
