  1. Expensive but necessary

     (3 / 5)

Very expensive but that’s what you get being the only supermarket on a mountain. Quite adequate selection of foods and the staff were very pleasant.

  2. low key and unique

     (5 / 5)

A small winery with excellent wines that you aren’t going to find in stores. The proprietor (a retired Israeli fighter pilot – thus the name of the winery) is a great character with a passion for making great wines.

  3. Summerland's Bottleneck Drive Experience

     (4 / 5)

Did a quick wine tasting as it was 1/2 before closing. Had never heard of this winery before. Facility was very nice. Realize it was close to closing but the person in the tasting room was not very informative about the winery or the wine. Need to possibly try again when there is more time available.

  4. Local Wines in cozy venue

     (5 / 5)

Come and taste the locally grown wines offered from dry to sweet. Great location in the bottleneck drive and friendly service

  5. We Saved The Best For Last!

     (5 / 5)

My husband & I were on a four day self-guided wine tasting tour in the Summerland, Penticton, & Okanagan Falls area. We tasted many well-crafted wines at many fine establishments. But, Silkscarf really stole our hearts. The beautifully crafted wines, the simple but, adequate tasting room, & the charming couple who served the wine made for a delightful visit. At a tasting at Silkscarf, last September, we fell in love with their Chardonnay. So much so that we bought a case. I mentioned that I did not see it on their tasting list, this time. It was immediately brought out for us to taste.:) We bought two bottles of it & two bottles of their lovely dry Gewu00fcrztraminer. We look forward to our next visit at this small but, lovely winery.

Excellent wines and good selection. have been buying wines here for the last 4 years and always good wines.

  7. Fantastic Wines!

     (5 / 5)

I was part of a wine tour with family when introduced to Silkscarf winery. It was awesome! The owner was extremely knowledgable and passionate about his craft, and it shows in the wonderful taste of the wines. He even took on the personal challenge of introducing me to a pinot noir that I would like. He was wrong… I loved it! Very happy with the experience, the wines I tried, and the wines that I brought home. Be sure to visit, you will not be disappointed.

  8. Amazing Wine

     (5 / 5)

I recently went touring wineries with my parents and Silkscarf was easily our favorite. The reds were phenomenal and we actually went back on the last day of our visit to get the pinot noir, which we passed on our first visit. This place is on our list of wineries to visit again when we come back and I would absolutely them. So delicious!

  9. Silkscarf Wine is Awesome

     (5 / 5)

We spent a day on Bottleneck Drive and Silkscarf was our favorite vineyard. The tasting was very enjoyable and informative and we were lucky enough to have one of the owners as our host, very nice person. The Viognier 2016 is one of the best white wines I’ve ever consumed and the Merlot 2014 is spectacular. We will be back.

  10. Return visit

     (4 / 5)

We like the wine from this winery. This year we bought Ensemble Blanc 2016 and aReisling Muscant 2016. Last year we chose Soignee (rose) and Viognier – white. The server was friendly and interesting to chat with early in the morning.

  11. Delicious

     (5 / 5)

Fun people , delicious pizza . Try the Thai chicken for something different. Crust is always amazing and the service Fast.

  12. New Year's Day Hangover Cure

     (5 / 5)

Ordered 4 large pizzas for pickup for 8 of us. All were ready for pickup in 30 minutes and they were excellent. Lots of toppings and excellent cheeses. Comparable to hansens or bordellos pizza in Kelowna and when I would recommend to anyone.

  13. Great food

     (5 / 5)

Great food and service at an affordable price. I highly recommend this place to everybody, don’t overlook this restaurant.

  14. Good Pizza but Orders never come right

     (3 / 5)

The pizza here is quite good, though it seems that the staff has a hard time reading orders. I have ordered from here in the past and every time I have gotten the ingredient I requested not be on the pizza, still on the pizza when I received it.

  15. What a hike!

     (5 / 5)

great views, picnic area and a place to park your RV or campsite across the street. Wonderful natural attraction.

  16. Close Enough but Feels like Far Away

     (5 / 5)

Great hike for being so close to the city. Good for all levels and lots to keep the kids interested.

  17. Location and lake - amazing!!!

     (5 / 5)

Camped in a 35u201d motorhome. We are self contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Stayed in site #16 Pros u2013 n-tSite was level and pretty spaciousn-tLots of trees and shaden-tGreat location to explore Kelowna, pick cherries, kayak lake, go wine or cider tasting and bike over the trestle at Myra Canyon Trestles Cons u2013 n-tPretty crowded in summer but the lake is so huge if you kayak you wont be crowdedn-tNo hookups so no AC in the hot summer

  18. Good Swimming Hole

     (3 / 5)

Visited for a family picinic. Lots of trees and tables. The shore was a bit rocky so don’t forget to bring your rock shoes. Water had some debris in it but nothing to worry about.

  19. Great family campsite!

     (5 / 5)

We always have a wonderful time here. There is a ton to keep the kids busy and the general feel is very family friendly. The water pressure in the showers is lacking somewhat and if you try to shower at peak times you might not get hot water but for a campsite and the price I can’t complain, although that may be more important to some visitors.

  20. Beautiful trail

     (5 / 5)

This trail has several relaxing stops by the creek, a waterfall and gorgeous views of the lake. Lots of shady spots along the trail to rest or cool off. You’ll want to be somewhat fit because there is a long set of stairs to get to the top of the trail. Or plan to rest at intervals on the stairs.
