  1. Wonderful Atmosphere

This has been our best camp site yet. We have a trailer and they had all the hook-ups. Nicely spread out with plenty of waterfront. Boathouse with rentals, volleyball court, horse shoes, internet by the office, rollerblading and biking along the KVR trail which runs beside the lake south to OK Falls and north to Penticton. No noisy trains on this line. Lots of tent sites right on the beach. The turn off from the HWY is very sharp. Heading south take it slow. Heading north with a trailer you will have to pass the entrance. There is a turn around 1000 feet down the HWY. Best to do that. We’ve booked our spot for next year!

  2. RV Park

Our friends u201cglampu201d here every year. They have a permanent booking and meet up with their other permanent booking friends each year. We join them once in a while but we don’t have an RV so we’d set up a tent. Spaces are small especially if you are parking a RV, but it is along the water so easy to swim, lounge on a floaty, head out fishing or other water sports like paddle boarding. There is hookup for water and electricity at your site and onsite laundry, showers, washrooms, Shaw wifi and small store. There is a volleyball net and apricot trees bearing fruit to eat. Space is compact so limited space on land.

  3. Great location.

Yes it’s busy and yes you need to plan and book ahead. But if you do you will not be disappointed. nThere booking process could be better but at the same time they don’t really need to hunt for customers. nOffice interaction was friendly and despite some of the reviews , I found the washrooms clean. It’s is camping so expect some bugs. nYes the sites are tight but as are others in the area. nBook and enjoy your stay.

  4. Location, location, location.

We have been camping here for 5 years. We like to stay 3 or 4 times a year between 4 and 7 nights at a time. We have a larger trailer and always book Windmill park as there is more room. nThere is no other campsite like this in the area. You are right on Skaha lake and could not get a better view. nIt is a VERY peaceful, quiet, relaxing and tranquil place within a few minutes drive of many of our favourite wineries and beaches (not to mention Tickleberrys).nEverything you could possibly need is in Penticton a ten minute drive away. nThe KVR trail runs right through the campground and is excellent for hiking and biking. nThe owner Adele is super nice, very friendly and very helpful. nIf you need to use the showers, washrooms or laundry facilities they are well maintained and very clean. nWe highly recommend this campground.

  5. This place is a gem!

This is the second year for me staying in this beautiful camp ground. Both years, our spot were really amazing with a beautiful view to Skaha Lake. The campground is really well maintained and people are very nice. You can even pick from the Cherry and Apricot trees as long as you don’t climb them. The only downfall is that it’s really really hard to book here. I really hope we are lucky enough to get our favorite spots next year too.

  6. Beautiful spot

     (5 / 5)

We had a plot right on the lake for one night and it was truly beautiful. Facilities were great as was the welcome. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful visit. Will come again. Our only regret was that we stayed one night only.
