We rented a Huge House and had so much Fun! Even though the lifts were not running because there was not enough snow we hiked around the Mountain and it was beautiful. The restaurant was open and it was Great! Food was good and the staff was amazing! Teri was the best waitress and we will definitely come back here!

  2. Definitely a hidden gem with some suggested improvements to make this place great

Came to Baldy for a day of riding while in Penticton. I was looking for uncrowded resorts this Presidents Day Weekend (US), and I was certainly not disappointed. These types of places just don’t really exist in many parts of the states anymore so it made for a really unique and fun experience. With that said, I have outlined some pros and cons below:nnPros: n1. This resort has some of the best powder I’ve been on in quite some time. Was on Apex the day before, but this place 100% had better snow. Started at around 10 and most runs were still untouched. Better yet – deep untouched powder just off of basically every run. They also have great grooming at this mountain. n2. Mountain is bigger than what the map shows. Plenty of terrain off of main runs in the trees – thought I could do this whole mountain in a day but still didn’t get to everything. n3. Views – Some absolutely incredible views at the top of the 2 seater on the bluebird day I was theren4. Inexpensive – Great value for what you are paying here. Even my day of window rate was still almost 1/3 of what you would pay at big US resorts for a daynnCons: n1. Resort Access – While definitely plowed, road headed up the mountain is steep and icy. Definitely need a 4×4 and snow tires to feel comfortable. Must be a thing in this part of BC, because the road to Apex was also sketch 2. Slow chairs – This place would really take off if they added even one high speed chair. It was brutally cold the day I went so long chair rides were difficult to stomach. n3. Lack of marketing/awareness – I’m not sure if the resorts in this part of BC don’t want people to come or just are waiting until they have the infrastructure to market themselves. Even some people we spoke to in Penticton didn’t know about this resort. When I purchased my lift ticket, there was no process to collect my information for follow on marketing outreach… no targeted online advertising as far as I can see. I mean, I’m not complaining having entire runs to myself, but I think there are small things the resort can do to ensure it’s future.

  3. Neat little community.

Very cool little community. Drove through it in the summer, going to check it out in the winter Great views.

  4. Amazing hidden gem!

Experienced Mt. Baldy ski resort and cannot wait to return. They have gone above and beyond to make this mountain affordable for seniors. A $19 day pass or guess what a $19 season’s pass. You definitely can’t beat that. With specials throughout the months of February and March it even makes it affordable for families. Friendly, helpful staff and great conditions will definitely have us coming back again next year.

  5. Very impressed

The lifts you can get to anywhere on the mountain in just a few minutes. Best gear is ever rented at a ski hill. Very nice runs lots of variety for all skill levels. I skied blues all day, they were well layed out and exciting runs. Definitely worth the trip! Good food and beer in the lodge as well!

  6. It's open again!

     (5 / 5)

Our annual ski trip to random locations brought us here and it is absolutely without regrets. What an awesome little mountain with big mountain feel! Even after days without fresh snow, we are still riding powder stashes in the trees. The glades on the slow chair is fantastic. The high speed chair will give you faster laps on the other mountain. When we skied, there was a $5 Tuesday and Wednesday. Which is insane pricing! Season’s pass is only $199. nnYou just can’t go wrong with this mountain. Love it. The

  8. Wonderful local mountain to go skiing

     (5 / 5)

My husband & I went skiing Mt. Baldy yesterday & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although the visibility wasn’t clear on the Eagle Run lift to the top we were still able to have beautiful skiing. We want to go back on a clear day so we can experience the views which were sure will be great Their prices are very reasonable & cannot wait till I’m a senior as it’s very affordable for them also.
