  1. A peaceful and quiet retreat

     (3 / 5)

This guest ranch offers up 2 bed & breakfast rooms, 2 cabins and 9 camper spots. In the main house in the walkout basement, there is a pool table and coffee machine – no note, no decaf other than tea. There is a mini fridge for use by the 2 bed & breakfast rooms. There is an above ground pool. My room was small, but clean and comfortable. Without a/c or a fan, it was undeniably warm in there, even with the black out vertical shades. However I felt quite safe to sleep with my patio door open at night, and letting the cooler night air come in through the screen door. The only issue I had was with the shower in the morning – it was more like a trickle of water. Not the best shower sorry to say. However when I got upstairs to sit down for breakfast, Mariane had set the table for one (I was the only staying in a b&b room) and on it was a lush display of fruits, cheese, nuts, cereal choices and piping hot coffee. Mariane is Swiss and you will soon find out how she came about to build her own Swiss chalet here in Alberta. Di er can be an issue if you don’t want to drive back down to Osoyoos or eat at the Mexican food restaurant that is literally 5 minutes down the road. I chose to eat Mexican. Su Casa was a true Mexican experience.nThe view from the entrance to the ranch is just amazing…you’re looking at the mountain ranges just over the U.S. border.
