  1. A definite yes, despite its' unassuming appearance

     (4 / 5)

A very special little place – unassuming in appearance but a huge menu, both Western and Indian dishes, very good Western breakfast. Only disappointment was that we were charged for requesting the ‘special’ hot sauce. You really should give it a try, it’s a charming place, lots of tables with a retro look and feel.

  2. A surprisingly good restaurant, despite it's unimposing appearance.

Not wishing to drive from our motel, we were somewhat limited by having only 3 restaurants on Lakeshore Drive. One was impossible to get into, one was very ordinary, but Ambrosia was very pleasant. We went on 2 occasions, breakfast & dinner, & were warmly received on both. The food was simple, but good & the prices reasonable. A pity we had such little time in Osoyoos.

  3. Volvos in Osoyoos participants eat at the Ambrosia

J and Tracey at the Ambrosia Restaurant are the most welcoming hosts you could ask for. The food is always excellent, whether you choose Indian or Western. Our Volvo club have enjoyed breakfasts and suppers there every time we are in Osoyoos. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  4. Always part of our visit to Osoyoos

  5. Great breakfast!

We had a lazy Labour Day breakfast here today. Parking lot empty and no one inside but was greeted by a honestly friendly server (I think her mom was cooking in the kitchen). Had chai tea (which I never have) as was recommended and it was very good. Eggs Benny and Steak and Eggs, Both plates cleaned right up, that says it all! Great breakfast and very friendly service. Nice to support local. By the time we were leaving a family of 20-25 was just being seated, so nice know they had some decent business.

  6. Best ever!!

We are locals and beyond a doubt this the BEST East Indian restaurant in Osoyoos. And bonus, it is owned and operated by a local family. Love it.

  7. So glad to have a very good lunch in Osoyoos

     (4 / 5)

My husband and I were travelling through town on our way to the coast and saw the Indian food sign and were so glad we decided to stop. The patio is nice and the restaurant itself is very plain but is very clean. I was a bit concerned as they seemed to be covering all their bases with the menu but I was not the least bit disappointed. I had the Muttar Paneer and my husband had the Chicken Curry and they were both very good. The Paneer had a really lovely texture and was just spicy enough. The naan was very good. I would eat here again.

  8. We go here often for the great food and great staff

Hi this is close to home and whe heading out on the road we stop in for a great Latte. The menu is western and Indian, EVERY thing is wonderful, served hot and really good value . The staff have to be the best people and care about you being pleased and Happy. We took our whole family there for thanks giving and they decorated our table really nice for the occasion. You have to try this, you will not be disappointed. We have been there many times and never had a bad experience.

  9. Late lunch

     (4 / 5)

On our way back from the kootenies hopped in for lunch. The place was quite and the looks from outside does not show justice to the food. It was really tasty and filling. We also ordered some desert it was well worth it. We surely recommend this place to everyone. There is lot of parking in the back. I would have given it 5 star but the water served was not good there was some kind of weird taste to it.
