  1. Amazing day!

We went for the Raptor Encounter Course on Saturday at 12:15 and I’m still shaking with excitement as I write this! I’m a total ‘Raptor Geek’ and my wife made this experience happen for us. The handlers were very knowledgeable and obviously cared for the birds. A few people watching the flight demo included with regular admission commented that they thought the Encounter was too expensive….I can assure you it was worth every penny! We hope they will be back next year as we would like to make it an annual event. The time spent one-on-one with the birds will never be forgotten.

Since we moved here have wanted to visit this Centre. It is very informative, with a nice trail around the property. The info centre has lots of interesting stuff and information about the area

  4. Great view

The nature centre is located on the top of a hill, and has lovely views (even though they were partially obscured by the smoke from forest fires during our visit). The interpretive centre is small and seems haphazardly arranged so the overall feeling is one of clutter. However, the nature centre is recommended to anyone interested in natural history and nature.

  5. Great view

This indoor museum is smaller than I thought but the out side view is great. It’s great for families with children. Please check their website for events and that’s the best way to get most out of your visit.

  6. Best view of Vernon

Their displays of wildlife and land formations are very informative. The raptor demonstrations are marvelous with hands-on experience. We visit several times each summer.

  7. Amazing views

I had heard about the nature centre from a friend. Sadly i did not get up there until the centre was closed. I arrived in the after-hours around 5pm and got a stunning view over the landscape. The self-guided trail and the viewpoint were accessible and gave a good overview over animals and plants and ecology. nIt’s definitely worth coming up there even for the after hours and enjoy the trails, the view and the animals.
