  1. Fantastic in all areas!

     (5 / 5)

Beautiful accommodations, 5-Star restaurant quality breakfasts and very clean and quiet. We stayed for two nights and could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the relaxing yard area, kitchen facilities and the suite we were in was all newly renovated and very clean. Our hosts shared tips for local wineries they like as well as some other tips on where to go. They covered every detail to make our stay pleasant. We hope to be back again!

  2. Friendly and helpful hosts in the middle of wine country

     (5 / 5)

This property just celebrated its second year of operation but the facilities are so well kept that it seems brand new. Located in the middle of wine country the location is excellent, the hosts very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

  3. Best B&B in Oliver

     (5 / 5)

We stayed here for two nights and were really impressed. This B&B is wonderful and the photos show exactly what the space is like. Everything is fresh, clean, and new. There’s plenty of parking right out front and the location is convenient to get to all sorts of wineries and attractions. The owners Adeline and Miles are super friendly but not overly so if you are the type who prefers to be more introverted or have a busy schedule. The breakfasts that they make are amazing! Definitely plan your mornings to allow you to enjoy the good food and great view.

  4. Friendly, attentive hosts that made us feel extremely comfortable.

     (5 / 5)

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Adeline and Miles are so friendly and attentive to all our needs. Their accommodations are top-notch! We can see that a lot of care and attention goes into ensuring that guests feel comfortable. It’s a great location for those wanting to do wine tours in the area. We will tell our friends about it and we will definitely be back!

  5. A wonderful weekend getaway - couldn't have asked for better!

     (5 / 5)

We had an absolutely lovely time staying at Adeline and Miles’ B&B for 3 nights. We stayed in their smallest room, which had absolutely everything we needed (the heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch!) We were treated to gourmet breakfast every morning against the backdrop of the stu ing patio view. Adeline and Miles went out of their way to make us feel welcome, moving breakfast earlier to accommodate our plans and sharing recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and things to do in the region. We will definitely stay at A Golden Mile again the next time we’re in the Okanagan.

  6. Friendly hosts, great hospitality and location

     (5 / 5)

We stayed in the largest of the three units for our two nights. We’re a couple who enjoy fall-season wine touring in this lovely South Okanagan region. Adeline and Mick were the consummate hosts, with a warm and informative welcome, and Mick’s professionally-prepared breakfasts on the su y terrace overlooking the garden and lake. Would be ideal for two couples or a couple with older children because of convenient setup of units. Minutes from town centre as well as Highway 97 leading quickly to our favourite estate wineries. We’d return in a heartbeat: our favourite place of our last four visits to The Golden Mile sub-appelation region.

  7. Relaxing stay at a home-away-from-home

     (5 / 5)

We stayed at A Golden Mile BnB for four nights while on a two-week roadtrip through BC and this was a definite highlight. Mick and Adeline were exceptional hosts and we could not have asked for more. The BnB looks exactly as pictured in the photos and was a perfect home base for our four days exploring the Okanagan Valley. Comfort and cleanliness are clearly a top priority for the hosts as everything–the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen–was absolutely spotless. We stayed in the Seaglass room which was spacious, super comfortable, and equipped with everything you’d need. The bed was perfect, the sheets were soft, the towels plush. You can tell Adeline and Mick have put a tremendous amount of thought and care into the details of all the rooms and it really did make it feel like we were staying in a ‘home away from home.’ The breakfasts were a definite highlight of our stay and beyond anything we were expecting. Every morning, Adeline brought down a full carafe of coffee followed by a lovely fruit medley with greek yogurt to start. The second course would be something hearty, delicious and different every day–breakfast sausages, a frittata, eggs benedict–and often using ingredients sourced right from the garden in the backyard (amazingly delicious apricots and tomatoes!). Mick and Adeline really were the perfect hosts. Our first morning, Adeline made a point of asking how the air and temperature in our room was and offered to turn it up or down. Mick spent a good 30 minutes with us helping us plan our winery visits and even gave us a VIP tasting card for a few of the wineries nearby. They were both incredibly accommodating with breakfast on a couple days when we had to have an early start, getting up extra early to make us breakfast one day and even packing us a bagged breakfast with cheese, home made banana bread, and fruit for an early-morning departure to Vancouver at the end of our trip. I have never stayed with such hospitable and gracious hosts! In summary:n- Room: super comfortablen- Cleanliness: couldn’t be bettern- Location: quiet, residential, not overrun with tourists, perfect for touring wineries nearbyn- Hospitality: warm, friendly, helpful–the best!n- Value: not sure you could find any better You can tell Mick and Adeline really care to provide guests with an experience that will allow them to relax, unwind, and appreciate the beauty of Oliver and the surrounding areas. We certainly had an incredible stay and would definitely stay again if we ever return.

  8. Great stay in Oliver, amazing BnB!

     (5 / 5)

Everything here exceeded our expectations. Adeline and Miles welcomed us with open arms to their BnB, and were happy to give us personal recommendations about the best wineries in the area. The room was lovely and had absolutely everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious too. The views were amazing! But what made it the best was the Adeline and Mile really cared about their guests having a great time, while also respecting our space and giving us privacy. It was awesome to chill out in the evenings, and use the BBQ and Kitchen, while enjoying the view with a glass of wine after a day of vineyard touring. The BnB is walking distance to the town and driving distances to dozens of wineries. Hands down the best place to stay when visiting Oliver. I can’t think of anything bad to say. I would highly recommend booking this Bnb !

  9. Excellent!

     (5 / 5)

Such a positive stay during our 2-nights at A Golden Mile BnB! We would highly recommend this spot to any couple looking for a getaway right in the heart of Oliver. The hosts were so friendly and attentive, as well as informative, without being overbearing by giving us sufficient privacy. Both Mick and Adeline were highly knowledgeable about the region, and provided excellent tips and assistance in helping us to have the best stay possible. The room was clean, comfortable, and newly updated. Photos didn’t do it justice; we were very impressed. Having a (very nice!) kitchen on-site was also a plus, and would have been a real asset if we had stayed here with another couple or two, and especially for a longer stay. The breakfast was superb and considerate of dietary restraints while providing many local ingredients even from the back yard! We will definitely be back in the future, and recommend to anyone looking for a quaint, affordable, comfortable BnB.

  10. Relaxing stay

     (4 / 5)

We called a couple weeks before our desired dates. Places to stay in the area were pretty busy. This particular B&B shuffled plans around to accommodate us, for this we were very greatful. The room we stayed in, had a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. The breakfast prepared was both mornings, was delicious, fresh fruit bowl, locally grown fruit and veggies were used in the preparation of both meals. They have a garden and a apricot tree, delicious.
