  1. Best Buffet in Kelown

     (5 / 5)

Taken $22 per person into consideration, I give this restaurant a five star rating. There are 58 different choices of food: seafood, sushi, rice, noodle, soup, veggie, fruit, desert, icecream…. My father said he counted 58 selections. The food was very fresh! My family loved here! spacious seating, friendly and quick table service.

  2. good family buffet

88 Grand is a good budget minded Chinese Buffet. They offer a good selection of Sushi rolls, made in front of you as the need is required. Nice selection of authentic and "western" style Chinese food. The hot and sour soup is very good.

  4. Nice Surprise - Way Better Than Expected

     (5 / 5)

We stayed in Kelowna for one night on a cross-country trip. This was our 10th day eating in restaurants. When we arrived in Kelowna we were starving and this place came up as being close to our hotel. We arrived at the restaurant at about 4:30pm on a Saturday. We are very healthy eaters…but sometimes…well let’s just say we were fully expecting a typical greasy Chinese food buffet and had resigned ourselves to our fate of over-eating, and feeling gross later. To our surprise, this place offered a lot of excellent, well cooked options and we ended up trying a bit of everything. The sushi options ended up being far better than the sushi we ate at an actual sushi restaurant in Richmond the next night. The sushi here was a bit better than what you’d expect at a decent all-you-can-eat sushi place, and was being made in small batches as items needed to be replaced. There were plenty of vegetables that were not swimming in sauce like most other buffet’s seem to do. Wide variety of chicken dishes and other meat dishes. The only disappointment was the beef roast, it was try and overcooked. But everything else was actually excellent. Service was quick and friendly. I am surprised to be saying this about a buffet, but I would gladly eat here again.

  5. Bountiful Buffet

     (4 / 5)

For variety, presentation combined with great taste and service, this Chinese restaurant has become our Kelowna favourite. Choices are yummy sushi, sashimi, N. American salad bar and flavourful Chinese food. You will see a very large seating area with a modern, open design. For that quick craving when you feel like a Chinese fix, I think you will like this place.

  6. Not Quite 88

     (4 / 5)

We decided on 88 Buffet, for a family celebration because the grandchildren love the variety. They love that they can eat sushi, crab legs and as much dessert as they can eat. The food was all filled, except for the desserts. At 6pm, one would think that the dessert station would at least be refilled, when it was drawn to their attention, twice. They need to find a better way to keep the food warm, as well.

  7. Largest Chinese buffet we've ever seen!

     (5 / 5)

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and are always amazed at the enormity of the buffet! Honestly, I would estimate its length at well over 50 feet. There is western food, sushi, king crab legs, mass amounts of chinese dishes, etc. as well as a dessert and ice cream bar. Reasonably priced for what you get and I haven’t had a bad dish yet. Our growing teen sons beg to eat here when we’re in town.

  8. Great Chouce for Quality Chinese Buffet and more

     (5 / 5)

What an assortment of Chinese and other foods on the buffet. There was crab legs, sushi, California rolls etc being made right behind the buffet so we could watch. The hot buffet dishes were served on large white oval plates on warming trays. Everything was fresh as not too much put out at once. A lot of the regular Chinese food could be found and many other ones that you don’t usually find on Chinese Buffet Including some seafood options (Garlicky Mussells and crab with cheese). There was a salad bar and lovely assortment of desserts including 5 flavours of hard ice cream. We would definitely return and have already recommended this buffet restaurant to our friends.

  9. Hit & Miss

     (3 / 5)

Not many options in Kelowna for a good Chinese food buffet. Tried it again this past week-end. Some of the dishes were good & others not so much. Would be nice to have some a couple of fresh or Asian desserts versus store bought cakes. It was packed with two tour bus occupants.
